Lives in Philadelphia, PA
Lisa Domenic is a Temple University College of Allied Health graduate, former emergency room nurse and creative living in Philadelphia with her family.
Lisa has a passion for giving shape and voice to seldom told stories. Lisa began painting after a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis and Narcolepsy. Volunteering with the curated Souls Shot Portrait Project brought the two parts of her life together to advocate the human cost of trauma and violence in our communities. She believes we are never to young, to old or to disabled to put others before ourselves and do our part to make a difference.
Lisa enjoys taking workshops, participating in local exhibitions and has studied with artists Paul Kane, Joseph Sweeney, Ty Hodanish and Lois Griffel. She is a member at Cheltenham Center for the Arts, the National Arts Program and most recently the Arts & Culture Council of Bucks County.
